A Practice Methodology Applied by Parse’s Human Becoming Theory

Abstract

|
This study is a practice methodology evolving from the Pars’s human becoming theory based on philosophical perspective of existential phenomenology. The goal of practice with this theory is the quality of life from the person’s perspective. Parse practice methodology is a human-universe process, wherein the nurse as living unity in true presence joins persons and families in the journey of illuminating meaning, synchronizing rhythms, and mobilizing transcendence.
Parse practice methodology based on lived experience of human being, which is above a reductionistic view of traditional nursing, will be spread to a new realm of nursing practice suitable for new health care delivery system of 21 century.
